Jim Carras

Jim has recently retired from a diverse background starting with NASA then the telecommunications industry, and ending with global IT outsourcing projects. One common string during my entire career was the 'people' component of "People-Process-Technology." This became an ongoing effort for me to build a methodology that would provide continuous improvement in better understanding and improving the effectiveness of project stakeholder management. Even with the rapid progress of the Internet and new project software tools, the vehicles for communications has been expanding but the basic understanding of the needs of project stakeholders throughout a project time line and developing effective interventions to satisfy those needs has had little change.
